A friend through our lives,
That is what Lesley has been to us,
A friend in times of need,
And mel did our garden weeds,
Play time with Hazel our dog,
A scarf Lesley would pop upon her head,
Never to proud to make my bed,
Lesley was always there for us,
Thoughts in our hearts and minds,
We remember you with love,
A day doesn't got by without,
A sigh as we wonder why,
From us you have departed,
Your pain and suffering is no more,
Your earthly chores no longer a bore,
You've missed your dogs Ben & Sophie,
Your cat Snowy is also at rest,
They will be waiting for you, so,
You're wished the very best,
As your' family too gone before you,
They will be waiting for you at those pearly gates,
Where love is rated a number one winner,
All is forgiven, so Mel keep on living,
As Lesley takes her place with Ben, Sophie & your cat, Snowy,
And mum and dad too. No need to feel blue,
Mel, Lesley waits for you to embrace.
