- Summer's a Thought Away. -

For upon our house the Sun is shining,

Bee's buzzing around,

For their hives they are a lining.

Heart's brighten up,

As Summer step's in.

Take a walk along the riverbank,

Don't give the Duck's too much bread.

As i have just saw two that's sank.

Upon the river bank,

The reed's are a greening,

The Flower's are a flowering

The Swan's are a'swimming,

The river flows so full,

It's brimming

So enjoy this Summer,

Come sunny or shower's.

Even fly to the Ifle Tower,

For a memorable break.

Whatever the weather, don't let it forsake your fun.

Joy Sharp.
