- THE STORM SETTLES -

For the waves crash around us,
yet his love gallantly surrounds us.
We toss around in an open sea, bobbin upon the waves.
The tide rushes in and sweeps us upon the shore.
Then a wave crashes and takes us back into the sea.
As if we can stand any more.
Then I looked ahead and I saw a figure of the Lord.
He was beckoning me to reach out and take his hand,
and walk with him along the golden sand.
Whispering have faith my child, your troubles will soon be no more.
The storm is settling and he's not going to let you drown.
For he will be there always through your ups and downs.
