- The Season's -

Snowdrop's peeping their little head's through.

Weeping willow's, new shoot's on their branches too.

Springtime is in the air,

No longer are branches bare.

Roses now from bud to bloom,

River's flowing from morn to noon.

Bird's a singing, church bell's a ringing.

As the Summer blossom's on and on.

Season's change so quickly.

Spring and Summer have faded.

The Autumn suddenly appears,

As leaves fall from the tree's,

leaving the branches bare.

Sharp frost's in the morning,

or as the day is dawning.

Spring and Summer have faded,

the Autumn suddenly appears.

As leaves fall from the trees

leaving the branches bare.

Now comes December and winter is here.

Snow is falling from the icy air.

leaving a glistening scene on,

branches oh so bare.

What time have we to stop and stare,

as season's come and go just beyond compare!

Joy Sharp.
